If you are a Student Nurse
North Country Health System offers a summer employment opportunity for Nursing students. To qualify for this program, the Nursing student must be enrolled in a BSN program, completed their junior year, and have an active LNA license. The Nurse Extern is paired with an experienced RN to gain nursing experience during their summer employment.
North Country Hospital partners with Vermont Technical College to offer three dedicated seats in both the LPN and RN programs, for qualified NCH employees only. The admission criterion continues to be set by the college but the pool of applicants for these selective seats is greatly reduced.
