Drive-up distribution will take place at the Eastside Restaurant from 9:30 am -11 a.m. Please enter the parking lot at 47 Landing St, Newport, VT 05855, remain in your car, and follow volunteer instructions.

Every month, North Country Hospital partners and has volunteers at the Vermont Foodbank’s VeggieVanGo at the Eastside Restaurant with a variety of seasonal groceries. Community members are invited to pick up free, fresh produce from 9:30 am to 11 a.m. by drive-up distribution. Please do not arrive before the start time.

Remain in your car, and follow volunteer instructions. No registration is required.

VeggieVanGo is more than fresh produce—you can also learn about cooking and eating nourishing foods while picking up the ingredients for your next meal. VeggieVanGo is a great way to stretch your food budget and find tasty and creative ways to get more fruits and veggies on your menu. Check out recipes and cooking demos from our VT Fresh team. This is a fun way to try new foods and expose your family to different types of fruits and veggies.
